It has been a while since I've posted photos from me going to a concert. But, it's been a while since I've gone to one. For his birthday, I surprised my boyfriend with tickets to see his favorite band, Between the Buried and Me, and a band I enjoyed so much at Riot Fest, the Dear Hunter. (I was also looking back at my Riot Fest photos, and I think it's about time to get a new camera. I miss taking photos so much.)
2018 has been the year of spending money on events instead of things, and it's one of the best choices I have made because I've been spending more time seeing things instead of impulse buying things I don't really need. Not all of these things are as big as concerts, but we'll go out bowling, or to see a movie at a new place, or try new restaurants, and it's made me feel nice to know memories are being made.
The show was amazing, and the venue was beautiful. This was my first time at the House of Blues in Chicago, but I would go back in a heartbeat. Everybody was so friendly, and the decor was lovely.
Also, Chicago is run by magic at night, I'm convinced.
