For those of you that have been here since the beginning, you'll know that Lake Katherine is a place near my house that I visit as often as possible. It is simple, but that does not take away any beauty from this suburban serenity.

These photos are taken from a small area beyond the trail you can walk down and sit next to the Cal-Sag, across from a boat dock that sits a ways down from the Falls. It was too chilly to sit down here and just hang out for a bit, but there are huge rocks at the bottom. It's my favorite spot to visit when I come here because it's distant enough to get away from other visitors, but you're just down a small hill from everything.
I've shared photos from Lake Katherine four previous times, and I think every time I've gone I have found new nooks to explore and new angles to discover. You can see them all here:
